Aaron Swartz and atx: the spec writer open source lost

Aaron Swartz's 2002 atx page is where Markdown's pound-sign headings and reference links come from. He wrote RSS 1.0 at 14 and Creative Commons metadata at 15. What open specs lost in 2013.
